Pepperidge Farm has issued a Recall for four flavors of the Goldfish Crackers. Pepperidge Farm has been notified by one of its ingredient suppliers that whey powder in a seasoning that is applied to four varieties of crackers has been the subject of a recall by the whey powder manufacturer due to the potential presence of Salmonella. Pepperidge Farm initiated an investigation and, out of an abundance of caution, is voluntarily recalling four varieties of Goldfish crackers.

Mondelēz Global LLC has Voluntary Recalled Certain Ritz Cracker Sandwiches and Ritz Bits Product in the U.S., Due to Possible Health Risk. These products contain whey powder as an ingredient, which the whey powder supplier has recalled due to the potential presence of Salmonella.

General Mills has issued a voluntary recall due to a supplier issue with an ingredient that goes only into  Cheerios Protein Oats and Honey.  This recall impacts select best if used by dates.

Store Talking Points:The CDC has announced  that customers should avoid Honey Smacks, tweeting, “Do not eat this cereal.” The agency says it found salmonella in samples of Honey Smacks, which has been subject to a voluntary recall by Kellogg since mid-June.

This Recall applies to all Lot Codes and Expiration Dates of the Honey Smacks Cereal in the 15.3oz boxes.
